asterisk users - Oct 2003 - problems with the extensions of sip in ATA 186

Greetings
 
I am a new user of Asterisk and am beginning to make tests.
 
 My problem is the following one:
 
I have a Cisco ATA 186, already obtains that it was validated in
asterisk, but I have a doubt of like being able to declare the
extenciones for the equipment.
 
This it I must make in the file extensions.conf  ??
 
You can indicate me an example?
