[Asterisk-Users] Help with ON-Hold, and call-transfer.
Hi, OK firstly some background before I ask my questions... Sorry that is a little extensive, but it saves the standard "What is your setup response" :) I am using the cvs checkout for CVS-07/30/03-11:43:15 (cvs co -D "a fortnight ago") - I tried the one this morning CVS-07/29/03-13:13:06, but it seems to have some isses with SIP. I am running asterisk under a RedHat9 2.40.20-19smp kernel on a dual P600 Celeron machine with 320MB memory and a E100P Card. We use a couple of Cisco 7940 IP Phones with the SIP firmware upgrade. We can dial... - from the 7940 to the outside world. - from one 7940 to another 7940. - into asterisk to be picked up by the 7940. - into asterisk to be forwarded to multiple 7940 (call grouping). - into asterisk to be forwarded to a mailbox (either due to a DND or ring-timeout) - between two 7940s and put a call on hold between them - playing the on hold music The problem is if a call between an outside connection and a 7940 through asterisk and then you put the call on hold - the call is disconnected - any ideas why? Best Regards, -- Keith Taylor
Again, it would be helpful to see the output from "sip debug". I would place this in the bug tracker.
