[Asterisk-Users] Zap channel to collect dialled number # terminated?
Hi, Can I get a Zap FXS port to collect dialled numbers by waiting for a terminating #, SIP style? Or, just collect digits with a rather long timeout and use a # to terminate that timeout? Thanks, Steve

Well you could do that by changing the fxs channel to repond immediately at s|1 in their context and then by running some AGI script that would play the dialtone and get the digits .... regards Martin On Mon, 21 Apr 2003, Stephen Davies wrote:> Hi, > > Can I get a Zap FXS port to collect dialled numbers by waiting for a > terminating #, SIP style? > > Or, just collect digits with a rather long timeout and use a # to > terminate that timeout? > > Thanks, > Steve > > > _______________________________________________ > Asterisk-Users mailing list > Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users >

Have you looked at the wildcard matching in the dialplan? You should be able to terminate the match with a #.
