Bug#630750: Bug#630750: default NAME_REGEX value in /etc/adduser.conf is incorrect
I''m writing to confirm this is a bug. I just ran into it in Ubuntu
12.04 upon uncommenting NAME_REGEX.
The existing regex requres the user name have a dollar sign in it. The
proposed regex works properly.
