Bug#584919: Some of the adduser.conf configuration options not present (in commented-out form) in installed /etc/adduser.conf
Package: adduser Version: 3.102 Severity: wishlist Hi, The installed /etc/adduser.conf file features most of the variables that can control adduser, at least in commented out form, together with an explanatory comment. This is really nice for the sysadmin, as it saves back and forth between the documentation and the configuration file. However, some adduser variables are not in that configuration file. It''d be nice if they could be added too, in commented-out form and with a short explanatory comment. At least, the ADD_EXTRA_GROUPS and EXTRA_GROUPS seem very useful and were unknown to this sysadmin before today, because they were not included in the /etc/adduser.conf file. From a quick look, every configuration item after QUOTA_USER in the (5)adduser.conf manpage is not in the /etc/adduser.conf file. Thanks! Christian
