Package: adduser Version: 3.105 Severity: normal I''m doing some cleanup here, and looking for files ending in .dpkg- was part of it. In a file called adduser.conf.dpkg-save we have a SKEL_IGNORE_REGEX variable. Should a person have save as one of the patterns to ignore? Since I gather none of old|new|dist fit for this adduser.conf file, perhaps a similar situation will happen in /etc/skel at some time? -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, ''unstable''), (500, ''testing'') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages adduser depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.17 Debian configuration management sy ii passwd 1:4.0.18.2-1 change and administer password and ii perl-base 5.8.8-12 The Pathologically Eclectic Rubbis adduser recommends no packages. -- debconf information: * adduser/homedir-permission: false

[Adduser-devel] Bug#452864: adduser: IGNORE_REGEX
Hi So your question is if SKEL_IGNORE_REGEX can be extended to SKEL_IGNORE_REGEX="dpkg-(old|new|dist|save)" Is this correct? (Yes, it can.) J?rg -- What did you do to the cat? It looks half-dead. -Schroedinger''s wife -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
