Adduser devel - Oct 2005 - Bug#335196: adduser: Please switch es, pt_PT and ru manpage translations to po4a

Hi,

I have seen that only the French manpages have been switched to po4a.
Please find attached two patches:

doc.diff: to apply to the doc directory:
* remove *.es_ES
* remove outdated/
* create the po4a/po directory
* move po4a/adduser.fr.po to po4a/po/fr.po
* add the es.po, pt_PT.po and ru.po files to the po4a/po/ directory
* add the addenda in the po4a directory
* modify the po4a.conf file.

rules.diff: to apply to the debian/rules file
* complete the clean rule to remove the generated manpages

You should ask the es, pt_PT and ru language teams to update their po
files. As they will work on a new po file, they have to check the
translated strings as well as to update the fuzzy and not translated
ones. If you want me to ask them, just send me a note.

Please remember as well to commit the updated po files. By update, I
mean both:
* the po files you will receive from the translators
* the regenerated po files at build time, when something has changed in
  the original version. It will help a lot the l10n infrastructure by
  having po files with right statistics in the source package (I have
  already sent an e-mail to adduser-devel@l.a.d.o addressing the same
  problem with the program translation po files).

We experienced the problem that in the adduser packages, the po files
_all_ are regenerated on _every_ build which generates a tremendous
amount of noise in the svn repository. I''d rather have outdated po
files than having that kind of noise in the repository. Why are all po
files regenerated on every build?
