Howdy, On the theme of release early/release often... I''ve got a preliminary output cacheing library available. It basically allows keep a page output around for a timespan so that the next request gets served up via the cache. To your controller, you add "around_filter FileCacheFilter.new" and 2 optional methods: page_cacheable? and cache_age_limit to have fine grain control.
