The missing entries are included in the wiki change log link above. Here are some items that may interest you in this release: * Fix MDS crash when using open-unlinked directories. This problem was a regression introduced in 1.8.2. https://bugzilla.lustre.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22177 * The lustre client uses current->journal_info to pass locking information down to lower layers. This can trigger a kernel oops under memory pressure. https://bugzilla.lustre.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22035 * Some "lfs" commands can now be run as a non-privileged user again. https://bugzilla.lustre.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22127 * The 1.8.2 client can sometimes try to reconnect too aggressively, flooding the server with CONNECT requests. Reconnects are now rate limited. https://bugzilla.lustre.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22423 * RHEL5.4 kernel update Kernel update to OEL5.4 2.6.16-164.11.1.0.1.el5 Kernel update to RHEL5.4 2.6.16-164.11.1.el5 https://bugzilla.lustre.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21632 As always, you can report issues via Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.lustre.org/ Our next anticipated release is Lustre 1.8.4 in late July 2010. To access earlier releases of Lustre, please check the box "See previous products*(P)*", then click "L" or scroll down to "Lustre", the current and all previous releases (1.6.6 - 1.8.3) will be displayed.
