Lustre announce - Aug 2006 - CFS Level-One Lustre Administration & Support Class: 9/11/06-9/13/06

CFS is pleased to announce a Lustre Level I training session to be
held during the week of 9/11/2006 in Boulder, Colorado.  This session
is ideal for Lustre Users who are new to the Lustre File System and
will cover a host of introductory architectural, administration and
support issues.  Additionally, the session will also provide hands-on
experience and will culminate with a CFS Level I certification exam.

Instructor:
The session will be taught by Andy Rudoff, CFS Director of Technology.

Location:
The session will be held at the Boulder Marriott in Boulder, CO.

Lodging:
CFS will not be arranging lodging for attendees.  You are free to
make arrangements at the Boulder Marriott, or there are a variety of
options around Boulder within a short distance from the Marriott.

Computers:
You will need a laptop for the hands-on exercises.  The laptop must
have a web browser, be wireless capable and should have an ssh client
(or the ability to install an ssh client).

   - architecting and profiling a Lustre cluster
Day 2 (Tuesday, September 12):
   - configuring Lustre
   - hands on lab
Day 3 (Wednesday, September 13):
   - troubleshooting Lustre
   - certification exam for level 1 Lustre support
