I have installed 2009.06 as a dom0 and have it run and am now trying to install 2009.06 as a para guest in my dom0 but cannot get past the following. swells@ATDOM0:~# virt-install --nographics --paravirt --ram 8198 --name ACRTEK28 -f /dev/zvol/dsk/rpool/guests/domu1 -l /cdrom/opensolaris Starting install... Ok, it appears that the name of the file system has to match the machine name. That got me to the next hurdle. Configuring devices. Mounting cdroms Reading ZFS config: done. opensolaris console login: Jun 8 05:50:10 opensolaris in.routed[604]: route 0.0.0.0/8 --> 0.0.0.0 nexthop is not directly connected It appears that everything stops here. The domain is running but I do not get access to the network? I cannot login to the guest. It requires a user id, root is accepted but it wants a password which I have no idea what it is. I cannot run any of the commands to setup the vnc connection and I cannot look at the network setup because as well or issue command line install commands. What am I doing wrong?
