xen discuss - Oct 2007 - xVM on Thumper

Hi,

I am thinking of doing a POC using xVM on a Thumper. I am planning to 
have multiple SUSE linux 10.x virtualized instances running in the box. 
Is this architecture feasible ?

I think you''ll need to provide some more information to get an answer 
that goes beyond "maybe".

since x4500 is rev-E so it doesnot support HVM (e.g. any OS doesnot

if  suse 10.x  understand xen then U can do PVM

SUSE comes with Xen and is supported as a guest last time I checked. 
Correct me if I''m wrong, since I don''t use SUSE.  Just
remembering a
feature list with Xen on it for SLED and SUSE 10.1+ I believe.  However
speaking, x64 support and Xen as a guest might be unsupported, I don''t
keep track of changes on the Linux front.
