Hi,

I created my first Xen DomU running Solaris today using the instructions 
from this page Creating Solaris domU virtual disk images at 
OpenSolaris.org

and it works out of the box!

If you''re going to do the same (and I encourage you to do so!) be aware
that it takes a long time to create the DomU.

After I got the Solaris DomU running I installed Xvnc using the 
instructions from this page: Xvnc with Solaris on Xen 
<http://www.dme.org/log/2006/07/21/xvnc-with-solaris-on-xen/>.

Note that there are some bugs on that page:

To configure the dtlogin to use Xvnc I had to do the following steps 
instead of the steps 4 and 5 on the page:

   1.

      Tell |dtlogin| to run |Xvnc| rather than the normal X server:

# mkdir -p /etc/dt/config
# cat >/etc/dt/config/Xservers <<EOF
:0   Local local_uid@none root /opt/csw/bin/Xvnc :0 -geometry 1024x768 -depth 24
EOF

      If you''re running a rather new release of Solaris disable
      gdm-login or graphical-login if it''s running and enable dtlogin

bash-3.00# svcs -a | grep gdm
online         21:25:21 svc:/application/graphical-login/gdm:default


bash-3.00# svcadm disable svc:/application/graphical-login/gdm:default


bash-3.00# /usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -e


    

   3.

      Restart |dtlogin|:

# /etc/init.d/dtlogin stop
# /etc/init.d/dtlogin start
# 
    

      After a couple of seconds, it''s worth checking that |Xvnc| is
      actually running:

# ps -ef | grep Xvnc
root 102525 102484   0 15:48:15 ?           0:00 /opt/csw/bin/Xvnc :0 -auth
/var/dt/A:0-7Zavqg
# 
    

Nevertheless I''m again impressed from Xen on Solaris !
