Hudson River Trading is a small quantitative hedge fund based in lower Manhattan. We are currently looking to expand our systems group and are especially interested in candidates with strong hardware diagnostic skills and unix experience. If you have experience with FreeBSD kernel internals and development we may also have a position opening in our infrastructure group. For a System Administrator, we are looking for: - experience in installing and troubleshooting server hardware (scsi and raid experience preferred) - experience using/administering unix-based operating systems (FreeBSD preferred) - shell/perl programming experience - network troubleshooting and setup experience Compensation: - base compensation will be competitive, with the potential for outstanding performers to earn a significant bonus.
