Available FreeBSD System Administrator -- 5 years experience
This list got me one interview last time I was looking so... I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. I have extensive experience with FreeBSD in an ISP environment. I have been the lead system administrator for two small ISPs for a total of 4 years. Additionally, I was one of the team at a large ISP for 6 months, before they decided they wanted me to relocate to Louisiana. I do not like hot, humid weather. I have had exposure to Solaris, HP-UX, and Linux. My FreeBSD experience provides a very solid base for all Unix. I am highly skilled in shell scripting with facility using both awk and sed as well as other useful pipeline capable utilities. I can debug and enhance scripts in most languages due to my training as a programmer. While I prefer not to work with Windows based systems, I have yet to meet a Windows problem I could not solve faster than 90% of the MCSEs I've met. I also speak Cisco IOS having used it on a wide range of models throughout my career, including dial-up Access Servers, and switches in addition to many routers from the 2500 series, the 2600/3600 series, the 7507, to the 7200 VXR series. I am currently in the New York City area. I have no particular ties to the area other than the mortgage on the co-op apartment. I am willing to relocate. I have attached my resume in text format. The HTML version is available from the link in my signature. If you require an other format, please let me know. -- Scott Lambert KC5MLE Unix SysAdmin lambert@lambertfam.org -------------- next part -------------- Scott Lambert 11 Rockledge Rd.
