Does "virsh create" work properly in your environment ? Same Xen 4-rc4 & 2.6.32 pvops on top of Ubuntu 9.10 Server ( Libvirt 0.7.0) allows virt-install to perform F12 & CentOS 5.4 PV DomUs installs with no problems. Virsh define & virsh start <DomName> also work OK. However , virsh create fails to create new Domain. Xen API been used is 3.0.1 per "virh version" report. I believe Xen driver for Libvirt in my case doesn''t communicate properly with "xend" Boris. --- On Sat, 2/20/10, Pasi Kärkkäinen <pasik@iki.fi> wrote: From: Pasi Kärkkäinen <pasik@iki.fi> Subject: Re: [Xen-devel] Fourth RC for Xen 4.0.0 (was Re: Third release candidiate for Xen 4.0.0) To: "Keir Fraser" <keir.fraser@eu.citrix.com> Cc: "xen-devel@lists.xensource.com" <xen-devel@lists.xensource.com> Date: Saturday, February 20, 2010, 9:02 AM On Tue, Feb 16, 2010 at 06:14:45PM +0000, Keir Fraser wrote:> On 16/02/2010 11:58, "Keir Fraser" <keir.fraser@eu.citrix.com> wrote: > > > The third RC is tagged as 4.0.0-rc3 in > > http://xenbits.xensource.com/xen-unstable.hg -- please test! > > And now there is a tag for 4.0.0-rc4, which fixes the qemu build. >Xen 4.0.0 rc4 (x86_64) builds, boots and works OK for me, with the latest x86_64 Linux 2.6.31.6 pv_ops dom0 kernel from xen/master, on Supermicro Intel Core2 Quad hardware.
