Keir, The reason I suggested to backport is that xen3.3 provides complete amd iommu support already and as AMD will release iommu in the future, if people still use xen3.3 at that time, it would be better to have this fix. Actually, this fix only affects amd iommu portion, the backport effort should be very little and I would not think it will break stability of xen33.
