Hi. I''ve been trying to run Xen for over a day now but I can''t seem to make it work...i''m installing it on RH9...i have followed everything in the user manual but after rebooting to test the install, everything freezes with "error 15: file not found" what could be wrong? can anyone give me a hand here....i really want to try this thing out...i also tried installing 1.2 but i encountered the same road block...i think my grub config is correct but evenso it still freezes at reboot. please feel free to email me and put Xen at subject so i don''t accidentally delete it (baggytinio@yahoo.com) thanx so much! Hi Francis, It sounds like the Grub configuration is not finding a file (i.e. xen.gz or vmlinuz-whatever). Some things to check for: 1) Check that xen.gz and vmlinuz-whatever really *are* in /boot 2) Check that grub really does have the correct filenames for them 3) Check that when you modified the grub config you changed the right file - sometimes it''s called menu.lst, sometimes grub.conf. Let us know if it works, this shouldn''t be too hard to fix (famous last words ;-) Cheers, Mark ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
