Backgroundrb devel - Jul 2006 - BackgroundRB time is not consistent with rails.

I added the following in my rails environment:

ENV[''TZ''] = ''UTC''

Background rb does not have the same time as my rails app. In fact it  
is a few hours behind. Any idea why this is?
