Hi Raheel,
It will depend on OCFS2 version;
Prior to version 1.2.5 of ocfs2, network timeout is not configurable, it is
a fixed value of 10 seconds. Thus using bonded devices was not supported due
to the time a bond typically takes to failover, leading to node outage
anyway.
Basic bonding should be fine if the above is considered.
Best regards,
Karim Alkhayer

Subject: [Ocfs2-users] NIC Bonding
Hi,
I have 2 NIC and wants to use both NIC for load balancing and fault
tolerance.
- Quick question if NIC bonding in Redhat is supported by OCFS2?
- If yes which mode bonding is supported?
Thanks
Raheel
