[Ocfs2-users] shared partition read/write blocked
Hi to all, I have a problem or better I don't know how reduce the time that the shared partition is read/write blocked when a node go in kernel panic. It's possibile reduce this time to 0 ???? I have a configuration ocfs2 cluster with 2 node. Thanks in advance.

[Ocfs2-users] copying an existing OCFS2 mount point to another LUN on another EVA
We have a shared Oracle home on an OCFS2 mount point. Our SA would like to move this mount point from the current EVA to another EVA. Is this as simple as dismounting the mount point, using dd to copy the entire contents of the mount point to a LUN on the new EVA, and remounting the Oracle home mount point using the new LUN? Sure. Start the dd after all the nodes has umounted that volume. Also, you may want to change the uuid/label on the newer (or older) volume after the dd has completed... just incase someone attempts to mount both the volumes. See manpage (tunefs.ocfs2) for details. Roeschley, Dale wrote:> We have a shared Oracle home on an OCFS2 mount point. Our SA would like > to move this mount point from the current EVA to another EVA.
