[Ocfs-users] Placement of redo log files on OCFS partitions
I would like to know if there are any implications of placing redo & archive log files on OCFS partitions? Any insight on that will be helpful. I also hear that OCFS 1.09 is better than 1.08. At what point should I consider moving to 1.09 when things are working fine on 1.08 for now? Thanks. [Ocfs-users] Placement of redo log files on OCFS partitions
1.0.9-12 fixes a number of potential corruption bugs, which will not eb recoverable and really screw up those datafiles. yes redo and archive is fine. however you do want to seperate them out on seperate filesystems of course.. definitely keep your archive logs away on a filesystem from everything else.
