Mapstraction - Apr 2009 - mxn.LatLngPoint with other coordinate systems than WSG84

I try to develop a mapstraction plugin for a custom map provider that
doesn''t use the WSG84 coordinate system (lat, lon).

I intented to use the LatLonPoint.toProprietary/fromProprietary methods for
coordinate conversion, but currently i already have to provide lat/lon
coordinates in the LatLonPoint constructor.

As point instances are used quite frequently in the code, it would be
desireable to wrap the conversion in the LatLonPoint class. Is there a way
to do this?
