dtrace discuss - May 2006 - The answer to "what is DTrace"

Since this a frequently asked question, "what is Dtrace", followed
shortly by "what are people using it for" I created a blog posting
that includes a concise description, and links to documentation and
tutorials, media coverage, Brendan G''s dtrace toolkit, and a
collection of links of people using DTrace to solve real world
problems. Feel free to link to it and give to others that are
interested in DTrace if you wish to add how you have used dtrace to
