[dtrace-discuss] Good examples of application-layer networking providers?
Hello DTrace folks! I''ve some ideas about what a provider for an application layer networking protocol would look like. I figured someone out there has built providers for things like HTTP or DNS, for example. Is there a known good user-level protocol provider out there one could use as an example to build a provider for a *different* application-layer protocol? Thanks, Dan McD.

[dtrace-discuss] Good examples of application-layer networking providers?
Hey Dan, The iSCSI target has a built-in provider, and while it''s pushing the envelope a bit in terms of what USDT can do, it''s a pretty decent example: http://cvs.opensolaris.org/source/xref/onnv/onnv-gate/usr/src/cmd/iscsi/iscsitgtd/ Adam On Tue, Dec 04, 2007 at 05:57:44PM -0500, Dan McDonald wrote:> Hello DTrace folks! > > I''ve some ideas about what a provider for an application layer networking > protocol would look like.
