samba - Jul 2023 - log ldap queries

Hi Jeremy,

I would like to see what ldap queries a windows client does.

I found this thead from 2019 on the list:

The patch you posted there would do the trick but it looks like it was 
never merged. Is it planned to get merged? Or is there meanwhile another 
way to get ldap queries logged?

Well I never got any feedback on whether it was useful, so
I just forgot about it :-).

Can you try it out and see if it does what you need ?

If so, then maybe we can revisit merging it.
