Hi all, If you're using LightDM and X.org 1.17 or higher there is an issue [1] where the xserver-allow-tcp=true option no longer works. This is because X.org now only listens for TCP connections if "-listen tcp" is passed. Unfortunately there's not an easy solution for LightDM as passing -listen to older versions of X.org would result in the X server not starting. If you are distributing LightDM and you know you have X.org 1.17 or higher I recommend applying a patch [2] to make this work. When we have a generic solution this patch should no longer be necessary.
