[Nut-upsuser] [EXTERNAL] Couple questions about the output of upsc command
Re 2: What's the load (in watts or percent) and what is the runtime value in minutes? Is the minutes remaining value changing on the UPS LCD or in the WEBCARDLX GUI when on battery? More generally, if no one else chimes in with an answer, I can set up some tests when I'm in the office to compare. - David Zomaya Tripp Lite ________________________________ From: Nut-upsuser <nut-upsuser-bounces+david_zomaya=tripplite.com at alioth-lists.debian.net> on behalf of Nathan Dehnel via Nut-upsuser <nut-upsuser at alioth-lists.debian.net> Sent: Tuesday, June 8, 2021 11:15:19 PM To: nut-upsuser at alioth-lists.debian.net Subject: [EXTERNAL] [Nut-upsuser] Couple questions about the output of upsc command This is an EXTERNAL email. Does my UPS simply not support these variables, or could I fix it with a configuration change? 2. battery.runtime does not change with load, either when online or on battery power. Is this supposed to happen? If not, can it be fixed? ________________________________ This message is for the addressee's use only. It may contain confidential information. Yes in the LCD. The WEBCARDLX GUI gives connection refused when I try to open it in a browser. [Nut-upsuser] [EXTERNAL] Couple questions about the output of upsc command
> Yes in the LCD. The WEBCARDLX GUI gives connection refused when I try to open it in a browser. Can you login via SSH? I ask because assuming HTTP(S) is enabled... not getting into the GUI suggests a different problem... one that might be contributing to data not updating in Network UPS Tools. Generally, I'd approach this by: 1- Making sure we get the WEBCARDLX working and reporting data correctly in the GUI/SSH/SNMP (basically, data should match the LCD or be very close to it) 2- Look at possible issues with NUT If you can't get in via SSH either, can you reboot the WEBCARDLX (does not impact UPS output) either via the reset button (just below/above the middle of the two Ethernet LEDs) or by removing and reinserting the WEBCARDLX and try again?
