Is there a *single* PostScript, PDF, or LaTeX file "somewhere" with which we can print all the /shorewall/ documentation? Thanks, -Kenneth -- Prof Kenneth H Jacker khj@cs.appstate.edu Computer Science Dept www.cs.appstate.edu/~khj Appalachian State Univ Boone, NC 28608 USA

[Shorewall-users] Printing the Documentation
Tom, I have Adobe Acrobat Exchange 3.01 which creates PDF Files. If you have your Shorewall Documentation in some sort of format HTML, Txt, etc.... I can create a PDF File for you to post on the website. >> Is there a *single* PostScript, PDF, or LaTeX file "somewhere" with>> which we can print all the /shorewall/ documentation? tom> There is not -- sorry, No problem. With other software, the documentation is a nightmare! You are to be commended for creating such well-organized information both within the distribution as well as at the canonical web site(*). Thanks for sharing all of your hard work! Hmmm ... I guess I''d better now turn to actually finishing the setup of my single-interface system using /shorewall/ ... ;-) -Kenneth (* ) http://www.shorewall.net/
If your using Internet Explorer you can go to the main documentation page and print most of what you need in one simple step: http://www.shorewall.net/Documentation_Index.htm 1. ''RIGHT-CLICK''on the frame on the right-hand side of the page. 2. Select ''Print'' from the pop-up menu. 3. You can do this for the following documents you need. May I suggest you also reduce the font size to the smallest before you print, as clipping may occur if you do not. Easy way is, View Menu>Text Size>Smallest. Hope that helps, it''s how I printed the docs. I can convert then to PDF, etc.. If you need. Just give me a holler. .Steve Sobka hickbot@fuzzylinux.net ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kenneth Jacker" <khj@cs.appstate.edu> To: "Tom Eastep" <teastep@shorewall.net> Cc: <shorewall-users@shorewall.net> Sent: Thursday, June 13, 2002 2:27 PM Subject: Re: [Shorewall-users] Printing the Documentation> >> Is there a *single* PostScript, PDF, or LaTeX file "somewhere" with > >> which we can print all the /shorewall/ documentation? > > tom> There is not -- sorry, >
