[Shorewall-users] firewall messages logged to syslog AND console
Currently I am using Shorewall 1.3.5 on both a Debian 3.0r0 and RedHat 7.3 box running kernel 2.4.18. They actually work quite fine. However I do have a small problem: All dropped/rejected packets are logged to the syslog AND console which makes working on the console quite a mess. As far as I know nothing is wrong with the default /etc/syslog.conf of both distributions. Does anyone recognize this and has a solution to solve this problem? Thanks Ad Koster lidad@zeelandnet.nl
