[Shorewall-users] Does this goes in bug for shorewall ?
Hello List Members, Please CC as currently I am not a list member. Recently I moved to debian from RedHat. Its a good distro. I am using 1.3.7b shorewall. My config is 2 eth so I downloaded two-interface sample files and completed following action as root: #cd /usr/shorewall #tar -xzvf /tmp/two-interface.tgz #cd two-interface modified rules, policies etc. #cp * ../ #shorewall start my rules for were not included All rules were correct Now guess what was the problem ? files were that I copied from two-interface sample directory to /etc/shorewall were not owned by root #chown root:root /etc/shorewall/* #shorewall restart And it worked. Does this Goes in bug for shorewall ? Thanks Yogesh
