Hello. I am using samba 4.16.2 There are various log files in /var/log/samba/ that are publicly readable. Is it possible to change the permissions of the generated logs of completely forward all logging to syslog/journald? Thank you.

I wrote a littel howto, but it's in German, maybe google (or deepl) can translate it for you ;-) https://www.kania-online.de/loghost-mit-journald/ Am 05.07.22 um 13:21 schrieb Hussam Al-Tayeb via samba:> Hello.
