Gluster users - Jun 2015 - Invisible during 'ls' but able to 'cd'

Hello,

I have a gluster 3.7 setup that I recently created. I can cd into
directories that should be there and then do an ls, but if I do an ls from
the parent directory the directory that I know is there does not show up. I
should also mention that I create the gluster bricks with preexisting files
on them. Gluster is replicating them, so I am not sure if this is just a
"it will take time" issue or if there is a real problem. Also
potentially
unrelated but maybe not is if I ask gluster to do a rebalance glusterd
crashes.
