I think this looks very like bug 1157107:
- String to Floating point conversion failure with client packages
during mount
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1157107
Try this to confirm:
# export LC_NUMERIC=C
# mount -t glusterfs pbcvapic00437:/test-volume /mnt/test_volume
The fix will be included in the upcoming 3.6.2 release.
