Shorewall users - Oct 2003 - Controlling access to a Network 200+ computers

Here is an idea i know we used to do it when working on an LTSP project
a little way back.

We had the entire network on dhcp and assigned addresses to certain mac
address''s. example

if you have a 200 computer network.

you can assign a pool of ip addresses example

192.168.1.1  --> 2f:2c:2d:3f:3c:3d

and so on its not really shorewall related but you can setup this type
of setup fairly easily. its simple DHCP...
