Hi, I have a Linux server as a front server running in DMZ with ProxyArp setting and an Exchange server running in Loc. I configured Sendmail as a smarthost for Exchange and forward IMAP and POP3 to Exchange in loc from Linux in dmz. I also set Apache to proxy to Outlook Web Access on the Exchange server. However, it takes the Linux box very long time to initialize connection to the Exchange system for OWA, SMTP, IMAP and POP3. Is there any way I can define parameter in shorewall or maybe in Linux to keep connection persistent or make initialization faster? Thanks Chris Du
