The FreeBSD.org CVSup network has received no updates for the last 8 months. For the last 4 months the only contents on the cvsup servers was a single README.txt file pointing to the archive locations. It had been previously announced that the infrastructure was being shut down. The original planned date was May 31st 2014: https://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-hubs/2014-May/002739.html https://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-announce/2014-May/001557.html Most of this has now been completed. Archived copies are still available in: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/development/CVS-archive/ It is now time to turn off the remaining services. Please be aware that cvsup is rather persistent - If you have forgotten about cron entries or boot time startup scripts, it will not give up easily. CVSup has served us well, but it is time to move on.
