255.255.224.0 netmask

Hi,

I have a nework configuration with:

iface eth0 inet static
        address ( my ip )
        netmask 255.255.224.0
        gateway ( my gateway )

In little words my netmask is 255.255.224.0 and not 255.255.255.255

I see that in 2 files I have setting for 255.255.255.255

-----
rfc1918
255.255.255.255         RETURN          # We need to allow limited broadcast

and

common.def
run_iptables -A common -d 255.255.255.255 -j DROP
-----

Does I have to replace 255.255.255.255 with 255.255.224.0 ?
Does I have to modify someting else ?

You don''t have to do anything. Hint: shorewall show common.
