Re: Tom''s Attitude (was Firewall Log Analyzer) (Tom Eastep)
Tom: I''ve been member of your list since Seawall project, and all the time you point to read read FAQ (RTFM...boys&&girls!!). This list is so great, you don''t need to ask most of the times. It''s self service and with that I''ve been learning a lot.. Sometimes I get depressed as you in my job (for similar situation) , but sometimes you need to drop those questions/comments and well and keep going forward ...and thinks positive of this situation ...We can try to do an effort to write (or at least try )a book "Shorewall for Dummies"....a good way to Help to Alzheimer''s association :) Thanks Tom for your great effort and project...and thanks to all the community who help to support it. My regards to Tarry ..who help to support you :) ....(Thanks Tarry!!!) Every experienced shorewall user knows how great your documentation is. But it''s natural that you have to face more with such people in opposition of getting positive response by users who are able to read your documentation and to help themselves by reading and understanding it. Usually the don''t need to ask... Head up, A satisfied Shorewall user :) Alex -- Benito A.
