This morning I discovered a problem in the build of 2.0.5 -- the version
number in the install.sh, uninstall.sh and fallback.sh script were not
updated properly. The result is that "shorewall version" returns
"2.0.4"
rather than "2.0.5". This problem is present in the .tgz and .rpm
files.
I''ve replaced the original .tgz and .rpm files with corrected versions.
For those of you who have installed 2.0.5 using the previous .tgz, you
can correct the problem by replacing ''2.0.4'' by
''2.0.5'' in the following
files:
install.sh
fallback.sh
uninstall.sh
/usr/share/shorewall/version
The first three files are in the shorewall-2.0.5 directory from the tarball.
If you have installed using the .rpm, just edit
/usr/share/shorewall/version and change the version number.
You can determine if you have the corrected or original versions of the
files by comparing md5 signatures. The correct files are:
79647331f8c56bfb803de95729f2448b shorewall-2.0.5-1.noarch.rpm
1d9e0397e589786648f56504808dbf03 shorewall-2.0.5.tgz
The original incorrect files are:
6c7a50fae0eaed64834fe18a0cef86e2 shorewall-2.0.5-1.noarch.rpm
1d1540e16998b43f5c03a9efd93c77b3 shorewall-2.0.5.tgz
I apologize for this bonehead mistake.
