Speex dev - Mar 2008 - whether the speex-1.2beta3 can canceller 16khz 320 samples voice?

hi,
i have a aec question:whether the speex-1.2beta3 can canceller 16khz 320 samples
voice?
  example:
st = speex_echo_state_init(320, 320*100);
den = speex_preprocess_state_init(320, 16000);
  i run the code and get three files :rec_file.sw, play_file.sw, out_file.sw.
than i diagnostic the result use the tool (echo_diagnostic.m) 
with parament:tail_length=320*100;
  but get the result is:
"Far end to near end delay is 75212 samples."
"This is too much delay, try delaying the far-end signal a bit."
or "You have a negative delay, the echo canceller has no chance to cancel
anything!"
  i can't get "Delay looks OK." 
  somebody help me.
