Speex dev - Aug 2004 - (no subject)

Hello... I'm developing Embedder VoIP as a project in my university and
I'm thinking that I can use Speex as my codec of choice... I just wanted
to know if any of you has done realtime Speex encoding/decoding with a
dsp in an VoIP enviroment

Hi,

I've never tried Speex on a DSP, but I think it should be able to work
in real-time on most DSPs (some amount of porting may be necessary). If
you have a fixed-point DSP, you'll need version 1.1.x.
