[Samba] vfs_fruit and Mac - What is "File Deferred Close"?
Hello, When using macOS Mojave 10.14.6 to connect to an SMB share on a samba 4.9.4 server with vfs_fruit enabled, I noticed the following logged to the mac console while connecting: "server wsmbfs_mount: Found older macOS server, disabling File Deferred Close for xxxxx volume" Could anyone explain "File Deferred Close" in macOS and why it's disabled when connecting to a SMB share with vfs_fruit enabled?
