samba - Sep 2018 - Audit user connection

Dear, 


A client asked me to know what time people are logging in and out of the samba
server.


Can I get this information? samba version 4.9.0

User connections are logged, in particular with the new JSON auditing
feature for automated processing.  See the WHATSNEW and the entry for
'log level' in smb.conf.5

There are other logs that may show you disconnects, but they are not as
structured.
