samba - May 2018 - No RID Set found for this server

Hi!

I have two Dcs(samba 4.7.7 compilated running in ubuntu 14.04).

I add one more DC:

1° - Compilated Samba 4 .6.15(because join with samba 4.7.7 has erro)

2° - Upgrade for samba 4.7.7

3° - Join OK


In logs i see on erro:

May 16 20:20:11 dc-linux samba[3530]: 
../source4/rpc_server/drsuapi/updaterefs.c:374: Refusing 
DsReplicaUpdateRefs for sid 
S-1-5-21-4090728816-130019372-733246407-11125 with GUID 
eff9134b-9199-4f94-8cfa-44b916dd8c2d

In check database:

samba-tool dbcheck --cross-ncs --fix --yes

Checking 5761 objects
No RID Set found for this server: CN=NAME-MY-DC-NEW,OU=Domain 
Controllers,DC=XXX,DC=XXX,DC=XXX,DC=XXX, and we are not the RID Master 
(so can not self-allocate)
Checked 5761 objects (1 errors)


Any idea ?

More informatio:

I acess DC-NEW with Asedit, in :

- Default naming context -> OU=Domain Controlles -> CN=NEW-DC

Dont have "rid" informatio

That is normal.  It will try to get a RID set soon, hopefully before
you add a user.

If you had joined with Samba 4.7 it would have got one at join time.

I "demote" server and join(new name and new ip), no more this erro.
