[Samba] Failed DNS update - NT_STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT
Dear, All weekend, I realized that the Bind9 the service is stopped. Samba Version: 4.4.5 Named version: BIND 9.9.4-RedHat-9.9.4-29.el7_2.3 (Extended Version Support) In my network I have 2 DC's, a primary and a secondary. In /etc/resolv.conf each DC, I just put the DNS IP location of each DC. I see it in the logs: /var/log/messages: Sep 4 10:30:02 srv14 samba[19876]: [2016/09/04 10:30:02.360111, 0] ../source4/dsdb/dns/dns_update.c:295(dnsupdate_nameupdate_done) Sep 4 10:30:02 srv14 samba[19876]: ../source4/dsdb/dns/dns_update.c:295: Failed DNS update - NT_STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT # systemctl status samba4 Set 04 10:40:02 srv14 samba[19876]: [2016/09/04 10:40:02.388057, 0] ../source4/dsdb/dns/dns_update.c:295(dnsupdate_nameupdate_done) Set 04 10:40:02 srv14 samba[19876]: ../source4/dsdb/dns/dns_update.c:295: Failed DNS update - NT_STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT cat /etc/resolv.conf nameserver 172.16.16.3 search domain.local domain domain.local When the restart the named Samba4 and services, everything works. Anyone know tell me how to solve the problem? Thank you!
