I see, but still, this makes the account useless. The ability to login to=20
the account, in order to be able to add CCs at the very least, or better=20
yet report bugs directly, is very handy. So if the use of this account=20
could be restored, the Debian KDE team would be grateful. Out of curiosity,=20
why was it disabled in the first place?

No: it can still be the owner of a component, you can assign bugs to add, 
add/remove it as CC to reports, ...

You can use any personal account being enabled to edit reports for that too.

We don''t allow anonymous changes to bugs.kde.org (list accounts allow
you to
resend their password so everyone can login via them and mess reports up).
