samba - May 2015 - Up to date samba packages for Debian / Ubuntu

Hi All,

There are no Debian / Ubuntu repositories available with recent Samba
releases.
The most recent package is 4.1.17.
What is the reason for this situation?

Samba developers don't decide what versions are avaible in debian
repositories, that part is decided by Debian developers.

Use the sernet packages: http://www.enterprisesamba.com/samba/
