Eventmachine talk - Nov 2007 - One Iteration

Hey all,

Thinking out loud here.  If anyone has any insight I''d appreciate it.

Is there a way to run one iteration of EM?  Something like a public
EventMachine_t::_RunOnce.  Barring that, is there a way to add a block
of code to run at every quantum?  Would constantly adding periodic
timers be too expensive for something like a GUI?
