Wanted to report success, following this procedure:
https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Laptops/Wireless/Broadcom
At the bottom, I see something of a compatibility matrix, but a line
representing my specific setup does not exists. So I offer the following
data to show that it works in my environment.
[erik at localhost ~]$ uname -r
3.10.0-327.36.3.el7.x86_64
[erik at localhost ~]$ cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS Linux release 7.1.1503 (Core)

I also wanted to point out, the command provided to extract the TGZ file
downloaded from the Broadcom site is incorrect. Should be:
tar xvzf /path/to/the/tarball/hybrid-v35_64-nodebug-pcoem-6_30_223_271.tar.gz
The "f" flag should be the last flag in the list. Got an error when
entered as provided.
Thanks!
